FROM A CALL TO A MISSION
Kommandant Lyser’s journey in ministry began many years ago in Africa. After serving in South Africa, she established a Bible school in Tanzania, later returned to the Democratic Republic of Congo, and eventually moved to France. Her journey also took her to Pakistan, where she joined Pakistani Christian friends for an open-air Gospel campaign. During the Covid period, the mission continued through online conferences and connections with believers in different countries.
Alongside ministry, Kommandant Lyser is an author, singer and musician with international experience, developed through collaborations and musical projects with people from different backgrounds and nations. But a profound encounter with God, shared in her upcoming book When I Met God Face to Face, changed the direction of her mission. From that experience came an urgent message: believers must return to their real assignment from God—not merely do what seems good, but faithfully accomplish what God has personally called them to do.
In time, that calling brought her back to Kananga, a city she believes carries a promise and a deep hunger for the Gospel. From this vision, Holy King Apostolic Mission continues to grow through evangelism, music, youth development and community outreach, while welcoming collaboration with believers and servants of God from different nations. What we see today is only the beginning: our vision is to carry the Gospel beyond our walls and, by God’s grace, to the nations.
